This role supports a year-round calendar of community learning opportunities and strengthens relationships among families, educators, cultural practitioners, and partner organizations.
The ideal coordinator is equally comfortable planning a learning series, welcoming participants, and tending to the operational details that sustain strong programs.
What you’ll do
Responsibilities
- Coordinate program calendars, registration, logistics, and evaluation.
- Maintain relationships with community educators and partners.
- Create clear participant communications and program materials.
- Support grant reporting and program documentation.
What you’ll bring
Qualifications
- Experience coordinating education or community programs.
- Knowledge of Hāmākua communities and relationship-based practice.
- Excellent organization and follow-through.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
