This role supports a year-round calendar of community learning opportunities and strengthens relationships among families, educators, cultural practitioners, and partner organizations.

The ideal coordinator is equally comfortable planning a learning series, welcoming participants, and tending to the operational details that sustain strong programs.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate program calendars, registration, logistics, and evaluation.
  • Maintain relationships with community educators and partners.
  • Create clear participant communications and program materials.
  • Support grant reporting and program documentation.

What you’ll bring

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating education or community programs.
  • Knowledge of Hāmākua communities and relationship-based practice.
  • Excellent organization and follow-through.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
